I know I have keyless entry on my car and I want to find a remote that will open it up and everything. My VIN is 2G1FP22K6T2164901. Can anyone help?

Never mind. I found the right remote for my camaro.

 

Can I use any GM fob to get this to work? I tried doing it with some remotes from a previous car, and it didnt work. It went into the mode to set it up, but when I was holding both lock and unlock buttons, nothing happened after that...?

 

you can also get new factory replacements at advanced auto for $50 or you can have a remote start installed for around $250 and use those remotes.
