High pitch squeal ?
Hey guys, I have a 3.4L V6 camero that has a squealing noise coming from the compressor. It usually happens in the morning when its about 70-75degrees out. Well just the other day it actually decided to rian the other day here in California, and low and be hold the next morning the noise returned, so I run and get the WD-40 and spray that directly into the compressor and BOOM
that noise wnt away
. My question is, will I have to replace the compressor soon? The noise only happens in the morning when the car is started and only for about 2 minutes, after that it's fine
Any input on this issue would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, your fellow technically challenged camero dude

I am having a similar issue with the 89' cutlass we have. It started the squealing noise. I sprayed it and it stopped. Now it smokes after its on for about 20 secs. I'm not saying that yours will die, just saying if it goes dont be too suprised.
