Hi Everyone...
I'm brand new to the board, and I just thought I'd say hello. I know it takes a while to earn any trust or respect on one of these sites. But I'll do my best not to let anyone down... Anyways here's a little info on me... I'm 18, live in Northern California, and I currently have three Camaros (one doesn't have an engine yet)...I don't know everything, but I'll help you out if I know how. I've only been working on my cars for a little over two years, but I've picked up a lot of knowledge at work (Tognotti's Auto World in Sacramento, CA) and keeping up the maintenance on my v6 (141k miles... yikes!) and rebuilding my '72... I'm setting up the suspension, brakes, etc. to swap out the engine in my '96, but in the meantime, I could really use all the help I can get to keep it running... I know most of you have been around Camaros a lot longer than I have, so I look forward to talking to all of you!
Thanks for the welcome!
Mustangeater... Yes, I have a 3.8L v6. It's a red convertible with a black top, and it's been my baby since I was 15... I plan to keep her forever, if at all possible.
I don't have any pics online yet because I don't have a scanner or a digital camera, but I have a new roll of pics of all three cars that I'm going to get put on a CD so that I can upload. It may be a week or so because I've been busy, but of course I'd love for you all to see what I'm starting with, and I'll be uploading pics as I continue to modify and improve each car.
Again, thanks for being so friendly. I look forward to talking more with all of you!
