Help! RPMs high all the sudden!

I have a 95 3.4 v6. I have taken very good care of it but i recently took it on a 300 mile trip, on this trip i rolled over 200k miles on the car.

Have been back a couple of weeks now and everything seemed fine. Until yesterday.

Normal startup: crank, rpms sit at a low ~1ish, at 60mph, ~2 to ~2.5, gunning it to pass some slow person 3rpm

Yesterday and today: crank it, sit in park, at 2.5-3rpm, shift to Rev. drops down to ~2rpm, shift to ODrive it goes to almost 3rpm. I can put it in rev and just take my foot off the brake and i fly backwards much faster then my normal reverse speed. At red light/stop sign, i can just take my foot off the brake and get up to 20mph roughly without touchin the gas peddle once, lol, i can effectly 'cruise control' at 55 and 60 just by taking my foot off the gas and sitting there almost

as you can imagine, with such high constant RPMS, it takes some extra caution to slow down and stop, driving like this will ruin my brakes extremely fast.

my only guess is: IAC valve is faulty, Throttle position sensor is faulty, Throttle body/and or cable is malfunctioning, maybe something to do with oil pressure? not sure here, kinda at a loss here as it happened all of the sudden

also, disconnected battery, cleaned IAC valve, TB, checked connections, checked oil, seems fine, so why the high RPMs all the sudden?

any ideas? could really use some help!

i had the same problem in a 94 3.4 i actually replaced the iac and tps at the same time since they are inexpensive parts. The problem was fixed after that, it was definally a annoying problem though.
