Help me please
I have done some searches and couldnt find anything on how to replace the Fuel Pressure regulator. I am having some problems. '99 Firebird 3.8 V6. I am just replacing it with a stock regulator. What do i need to do. Is there an easy way or just a hard way. Any diagrams on this. I am not sure if I have to remove the fuel rail or not. I just dont want to f*** anything up. any thips would be very helpful

Yes you hafta take off the fuel rail. Start by relieving the fuel pressure and disconnect the negative terminal. Then using the special fuel line tool to depress the seal inside the fuel line coupler and deatach the fuel lines from teh fuel rail. Detach the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. Label and unplug the injector electrical connectors. Also remove the accelerator and the cruise control cable (if equipped) and any other components that would interfere with the removal of the fuel rail. Then remove the fuel rail retaining bolts. Carefuly remove teh fuel rail with the injectors. Remove the snap ring then twist the pressure regulator back and forth too pull it from its housing. Celan the housing and filter with carb cleaner. When reassembling, lubrucate the o rings with clean engine oil. Then simply put it all back together.
