Question Help me with gears please!~

OK i have posted before and nobody really helped me out at allso hopefulyl this time will be different! I have a 95 v6 3.4 L camaro and i want to up grade my gears to 3.73's with a posi~! What is all needed to do this?!?! I know the ring and pinion and the lsd or posi. BUt what else i heard bout when you upgrade gears that you lose the abs in the back unless you buy this new ring from SLP for like 20 bucks is this true?
Also Please correct me if i am wrong! i have a GM 10 Bolt 7 1/2 - 7 5/8 right? so i need gears that match that and what else is needed to put in the posi and gears? is that it or what! Please help me cause last time everyone just overlooked it and said to look at other posts and i found nothing to the ?'s that i was asking so please help me out!
Thanks!!

You need the ring, pinion, and carrier. Make sure when you fill the gear oil back up, put in limited slip additive to protect the clutches in the carrier. It would also be a good idea to pick up a new gasket for the differential housing cover. The old one might be damaged if you're not careful.

The ring you're talking about is called a reluctor ring, and yes it's for the ABS. You can reuse the old one if you're careful and it doesn't get damaged, but I think it would be a good idea to just get a new one since they are cheap. I don't think you have to buy it from SLP; a dealership should have it, maybe even a normal auto parts store.

And yes I believe you have a GM 10 bolt 7.5".

FYI I have swapped a new carrier into my car myself and I didn't need anything except the carrier. I used the same ABS reluctor ring and diff. housing gasket b/c I was careful.

Hope this helps.
