my neck is screwed up, i think the driver was drunk, i had just installed the CF Altezzas the day before, and im not sure if my airbags were suppose to deploy or not.

could someone let me know if they were suppose to deploy? he hit me at about 30mph, I was at a dead stop.

Sorry man hope the insurance company steps up.

I was rear ended way worse almost a year ago by a semi truck and I was also at a complete stop. The "whether or not shuld my air bags have come out" is a common question. Everyone was surprised when my airbags didn't come out. Well, people watch too many movies they don't come out when your car gets hit anywhere. The sensors are in the front and have to be hit at a certain impact which would be hard to do if your were rear ended. The d!ck that rear ended me when I was at a complete stop denied it being his fault but luckily the car I got puched into saw the whole thing and was on my side. My passenger door had to be kicked open, I thought my car was done for but it lives luckily it was all body work.

I had some neck pain the next day but said screw it because cops arrived at the scene and already noted that everyone was O.K.

That sucks. Hopefully the settlement will be a hefty one.

Good riddance to those Altezzas though. Those are some damn ugly tail light!

Unhappy

I just got rearended yesterday . i was coming to a stop in traffic(about 5 mph) when a truck was switching lanes and hit me. he must have been going about 40 mph. The impact pushed me into a jeep in front of me. So now i have a foot sized hole in my now cracked front bumper,my right rear quarter panel buckled, and the brush guard on the truck tore up my bumper, tail light, and hatch/spoiler. i havent been able to take it to the shop to find out the extent of it all. This really sucks.

The only difference between what happened to you and what happened to me last Sept. is it was the left side 1/4 panel that buckled and the foot sized hole caused by being pushed into another car was more of a tear on my cars front bumper. Expect $7k in damage.
