what did you expected? is a car. they ALL need maintenance; and, correct me if I'm wrong, the parts/labor for imports cost more.

Your brakes were normal wear-and-tear maintenance. The battery...well, stuff happens.

Trust me...

...it could be a lot WORSE.

do yourself a favor. Make a list of everything that needs fixing on your car. Beside that make a list of everything you want to add to your car. (ie. Seats need redone-----Corbeau Racing seats) now look up the price of each and do what you really think is best. Don't nickle and dime yourself to death, then a week later think Man for a few dollars more I could have tweaked it a lil more, upgraded to a..... and ......you get the picture.

joed4640 - It's prefectly normal to feel the way you do. But, it could be so much worse. My fiance's Firebird has MAJOR problems.

1.) Won't start but about once every three tries.
2.) Blown coil (HORRIBLE misfire)
3.) 2 Burned wires (We think some of the plugs are fouled as well)
4.) Her electrical motors in her headlights and antenna are blown.

We've had her car in for 3 months at a dealership and when it came back out the mechanic pulled us aside and these were his exact words: "Sir, your fiance's car has serious problems. I haven't been able to track down the root problem though.......If it was my car sir, I would just trade it in and wipe my hands of the whole thing. I'm sorry." So, it could be a lot worse! Enjoy your car, even if it does act up some times. And, hey, even if it does act up, you have all of us here at CZ28.com to vent to. Good luck with the car, I hope you feel better about it soon!
