Question Get new exhaust tips? PLEASE Answer!

When I got my flowmaster 80 series installed a couple years ago i got two 2.5" straight cut chrome tips on there. They have since rusted up and now look like poo.

Now my question is if i get some stainless steel 3.5" tips on there will it makes the car any louder? I wish my car was louder and sounded a little better above 2500rpm

EDIT: ok i deleted all the stuff about the cats because you guys seem to be annoyed by it but I wasnt really focusing on the cat anyway I really wanted to know if getting bigger exhaust tips would make my car louder, please answer this question....

Please do a search for the cat question, its been discussed too much before. Just to quickly sum it up, get a hi-flow cat. Cars today don't run well without cats, raspy sounds which get worse in higher RPMs, and gives you very little if any HP gains (not worth the fine).

Not by much unless you get those long ones like trucks run.

the tips arent gonna do much...dont gut cats...you get a horrible hollow metallic noise, if you want to run without cats, cut them completely out and weld in a straight pipe.
