Gasket Problems

Been Looking at a lot of forums and I've noticed that theres a lot of problems with v6's concerning blown gaskets.

Pretty much, if anyone want to contribute to this section with advice such as steps to repair gaskets/blown gasket diagnosis/good gaskets to buy/ect, please do.

I'll start with diagnosis.

You most likely have a blown gasket IF:

- Your car stutters/vibrates more than ussual
- Leaking water/oil
- Exhuast smells like gas
- Exhaust is white cloud
- Car overheats easily
- Brownish/discolored oil.

Please include your own facts in this section. I have a blown gasket myself and i'm not quite sure which kind I should buy. I have a cheap budget. Help?

You are looking at ~50 for gaskets set (www.gmpartsdirect.com):

Edit: but it says 95 and later... you may need to do some more research to find a right part number for a gaskets set.
