hey does ths fuel injection cleaner stuff that your pour in with your gas actually work ?
oh oh oh and if i thorw this stuff in next tiem i pump some gas could it FHAQ!! anything up?

from what i've heard, seafoam works best, though i can never tell the difference.
the directions are usually to add the fuel cleaner to a near empty tank and then fill it up with gas (to mix it in well). if you don't add any gas at all after the fuel cleaner, it might all settle at one place, top or bottom and you might as well just throw a $5 (or however much it cost you) in your tank instead.

im thinking im going to throw it in the next time i go to roseville california ... go to gas station throw it in pump some gas.... drive 30 miles ...... then 30 back ? what ya think ?
also i usually fill up with ampm arco ...
do you recommend another gas for when i drop this in ....
i have a 76 and a shell and a chevron & a tesoro on the same block

Its only a couple of bucks, I buy a bottle of STP Fuel system cleaner every couple of thousand of miles. I use other brands too here and there. I dont know if it really works but It makes me feel more assured that the car is running well.
from what i've heard the cheap stuff doesn't really do anything...if you get the stuff that texaco express lubes sell, for example, you can actually see results from that, all the crap coming out of the exhaust.
