what kind of gas milage can i expect to get in my 2000 Camaro 3.8L V-6 Auto...

Yeah, about 19/30 if all you have is a filter. If you get an exhaust and intake you'll get better milage.

Whoa! I get better gas mileage in my 01 Trans Am! 25mpg/city and 30-31mpg on the highway in 6th at 60mph with cruise control.

maybe, but you have to use 93 which is 20 cents more per gallon and you only get equal mileage if you baby it, i can shift at 3000 constatly and still get 26.

i've had my car now for almost 3 weeks and i figured it out, i'm getting anywhere from 22-23 MPG... that's not bad considering i was only getting like 14-15 MPG in my '87 Z28
i do mostly city driving too, so 22 MPG is good

One of two adavantages to having a V6, the other being lower insurance.

20 city and 25-28 highway at 70-75mph ==> 1996 3.8L auto


also I went from a minivan - 1991 chevy lumina apv to the 96 camaro and my insurance barely went up.. only went up cuz i had to get full coverage....

but hey what u gonna do....
