It just started today, at idle my engine makes a clicking sound, it's low, but noticable. When I give it gas the clicking sound becomes much louder and the idle is a little rough. The car still starts up fine but my oil was a bit low after it started, I since topped it off. Could the cam be going? What could the problem be?

 

does the oil and transmission look good?

 

rough idle and clicking sound....... check for exhaust leak's, specifically the headers (broken bolts at the head!!!)

 

something internally probably going bad,I doubt a exhaust leak would cause that
