Egr Valve?
I ran my computer on my '96 camaro to check a light and got this code:
P1441, Evaporative Emission System Flow During Non-Purge (GM).
Is that mean the EGR valve is messing up? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
How would I go about fixing it?
Is it something I can fix/replace in an hour or so on a Saturday?
Thanks!!

Re: Egr Valve?
your evap and egr are completely two different systems. Your evap controls the flow of hydrocarbons, evaporated fuel. From what the code says it sounds to me like the check valve in the evap/charcole canister is stuck open or not operating properly and allow too much hydrocarbons out into the engine to be burned in the combustion chamber. Evap systems are very complex and confusing I say take it to a good certified tech that knows what they are doing and see what they say. I think worst case possible you will have to change out your charcole canister but it just might be something very stupid and simple.
Re: Egr Valve?
^ this has zero to do with the EGR.
