has anyone on here pulled the egr of a 94 3.4, and i have heard that you can clean them is this possible,and how hard would it be to clean it.the egr valve on my car is really tight and im afraid im going to brake the bolts have any of you broke the bolts off and is there an easy way to get the bolts out.

there are two major parts on the egr on the 3.4L IMO. The lower part that is connected to the exhaust manifold and bolts up to the upper part. Whitch hold each of the 3 egr sylinoids(sp?). You can easy remove the upper from the bottm and use some like carb or break cleaner to clean up any carbon deposits. Just coat them in my good penetrating oil before you do it.
