dyno results

Finally got it dynoed today. It took Tiago and I 2 hours to get to the dyno so the car was really hot. We didn't have anytime to let it cool down. I picked a really crappy day to dyno. On the news it said today was the hottest day of the year. Right now it's 99 outside with the humidity at 26%. In the shop it was right around 110 so no cold air for the car to pick up.
We were having probs with the connector on the tb coming off. Turns out it had a small rip in it so I was only making 7-8psi.

Now for the numbers. In 3rd gear I was making 282.5 hp and 311.1 tq. Right after this we ran it in 4th so the car was really hot. We had to run it twice since the first time the connector popped off. Once we got a clean run in 4th it pulled 278.1 hp and 320.9 tq. Didn't get to take it to redline because of the speed limiter.

They are having a midnight dyno day here in a few weeks. I'm going to take it back with some silicone connectors and let the thing cool off for a few hours first. The car was at 210 when we dynoed it.

I'm really hoping that when we get all the boost leaks taken car of and the car is running cool at around 10psi we can hit well into the 300hp range.

Wow! Awesome numbers. What kind of kit and car you running? I have been looking to a turbo kit since my six banger is payed off and I want to keep it, but give it more power.

This is a custom kit that Tiago and Turbospeed are helping me make.
I have a 3.8L 2000 firebird.
I'm going to take it back to the dyno when it cools off a little and get some better numbers.
