Post couple of questions

Hey hows it going? im new here but i just wanted to know if you guys can help with a couple of things. I am about to buy a 00 camaro tomorrow, v6, but i also have a 93. this new one needs tires and my 93 has new ones, can i exchange them? also, it does not have power locks, can those be added? and on my drivers side window, manual, it makes a scratching noise when it goes up and down, and scratched it. any ideas what the problem might be? thanks in advance.

Arrow

Tires: Yes.
Locks: Yes. The easiest way is to add an alarm with power locks, I guess.
Window: Sounds like it might be a little bit off the tracks.

Cool

Welcome.First off,I think the easiest way to get power doors and windows would be to find a junked car somewhere and grab all the parts from it.As far as the scratching goes, there's 2 little "guides" that the window rests on as it slides up and down.Sometimes these things break and the window can drag on the sharap edges. The thing to do is remove the door panel and see if you can see anything rubbing on the window when it goes up and down.Good luck.

getting an alarm that automatically locks your door doesn't mean it comes with power locks. in order to get an alarm that locks your door, you have to already have power locks. the same with automatic trunk release.
