Coolant leak at TC

Howdy,

Just a quick question. The car is a '94 3.4L auto. It's got a coolant leak at what appears be to the timing cover. If I look at the upper heater hose leaving the pump (passenger side), then look into an alcove in the block just above that hose, I can see and hear coolant peeing (it's higher and deeper than the pump itself).

Is this a common place to spring a leak? Does it sound like the TC gasket is leaking? Anything else it could be?

Thanks for any and all ideas. I'm sorry to not have a picture for you guys. I know that would make it a ton easier to know what I'm talkin about.

not sure from what your saying and like you said a picture would help. But, I'd say that you want to be very careful to check that your not leaking coolant into enginge / oil (i.e. intake or head gasket); as if you are an you continue you to drive it big problems
