I hate to say it.....but I agree.

I know there are some on here that have a v6 that hauls tail, but they have dropped a small fortune on it.....and it now it runs 12-13.

Look like a camaro.
Handle like a camaro.
Accels like a Kia

That's why my "race" car......isn't a car

i do give respect to those who have 12-13 sec v6 cars, but in reality even if you spend $$$$ your still not gunna touch a Z
3.8 are nice in buicks but not in camaros
and lets not even talk about a 3.4 <---ha! i wonder what genius at GM thought of that

Hate to say this man,but look at what you've done to your car.You say it's all show and no go?Of course it is,that's the way you've built it. Also, you will never beat every single thing on the street, that's a fact of life.I've been beat by a Honda Civic for God's sake In my Z!!!!! You just never know what other people have done to their cars. There are 3.8's running 14's with a few bolt-ons.That's hardly slow Yes the 3.4 was put into the Camaro and I happen to love that motor.Do you know what a lot of Baja racers use? That's right, the 3.4 V6 block. It's very strong and runs forever.Look at all the 3.4's around here who take a beating and keep on ticking! The ones that blow 9 times out of 10 either blew on too much nitrous or a missed shift on nitrous. The only weak link on that motor is the pistons. Why should GM put a super-fast motor in it's V6 Camaro anyway?Put a reliable one in there and that raises the reliability of the entire line. And then hey, maybe more people will buy a Camaro Anyway, the 3.4 can and has whipped on a few Smokey and the Bandit era F-bodies,so I wouldn't knock it too much

Listen to you guys...I can't believe this! V6 Camaros aren't slow, they're just heavy and not as quick as some other cars. Atleast we have RWD and can have a blast with them. Those new Grand Am GTs aren't exactly slow. I agree they're not quick but atleast we look better than those neons, civics and crap. I have yet to lose a race, and mine is stock.

i didnt buy those things for my car to make it fast! neons/strobes/tints etc... like i said v6 cars are all for looks .I know my car is never going to be a rocket, so why spend money on performance mods? so i can go beat a 00 grand am GT? nah i dont really care about that, rather save for a Z or T/A, do some mods, and race with real sports cars

anyone know how much power those grand am's have anyways?

Personally, I see no problem with intake and exhaust mods, along with maybe a power programmer along with your appearance, sound and suspension mods. After all some people do want a little more pep to their v6 without the cost of a v8. I dont think I would go as far as a supercharger or nitrous, but on the small stuff, I dont mind buying it all to make my 6 a little quicker. Im not trying to be a speed demon but ya know
