Catalytic Converters for 3.8 v6

Hey how's it going?

Well I've come to the conclusion that my catalytic converter has gone out, or is about to go out. I am curious i've been looking into different ones that are out on the market. Does anyone know the stock size of the regular one thats on the 3800 Camaro? I think it was a 2.5 but i don't remember. I was interested in buying this one, but of course i am not sure if this is the correct size i would need? Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the help,

All our cars came with 2.5'' pipes.
It would work good.

i got a BRAND NEW Catco High Flow Catalytic Converter- 3in. inlet and outlet. $35, buyer pays shipping. even though its a 3inch inlet and outlet, a muffler shop should be able to weld it up no problem, and it'll flow better and sound louder than stock.

Here's another question, i've been shopping around for additional cats for the swap out. I've seen a few that say that they have an Air Tube ? Would i need one with or without? Anyone have any ideas about this?

if you wanna save some money, take it to the dealer, if you have 75k or less on your car they give you a new cat for free. and gm car, kinda nice.
