catalytic converter

my girlfriend's mom has a 2000 v6 camaro... the cat went bad, and the dealership wants assloads of money to replace it. i drive an LT1 trans am, my girlfriend drives an LS1 Z28... i'm familiar with all of the places to go to get performance parts for v8's... but i don't really know anything about the 6's. any of you guys know where i can get a replacement catatlytic converter? it can be just a simple factory one or an aftermarket "high-flow" cat... just as long as it isn't really high dollar. the only one i found was like $175 thru thunderracing.com and it was a random technology high-flow cat. anybody know of anything different or should i just try and get a reasonable deal on it thru gmpartsdirect?

On ebay you can get Carsound and catco high-flow cats for around 35 bucks. That's where i hear most people are getting them. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Catco. Nice and cheap.

Much better than handing the money over to the rapist-ship...I mean dealership.
