Car light question

hey guys...
in my 95 3.4 v6 the light on the roof in the back stays on for some reason even when the doors are closed...i had to disconnect the light becuase it was draining the batterey...how can i fix this?

lol. When I first had my 97 3.8 camaro the same thing happened to me. The reason the light stays on is because you have the gauge dimming/brightening dial (the dial on the left side of your dash) turned all the way up. Just turn it down to about the middle and see if it solves the problem. When it happened to me I was with a friend and we were FUGGED up! He took the cover off of the light and tried to take the bulb out with his fingers! LOL!! Smoke rolled up from his fingers, and he left 2 finger prints on the bulb. Damn that was hilarious.

ive tried doin that and the light still stays on but it gets very dim...im goin to try again and see what happens

ok i tried that and the light goes down alot put there is a little orange glow still in the bulb...is the bulb off or is it still on alittle bit
