Car died, now wont start.
Alright, was driving this morning and the car died. I was at a light, I turned the key on, everything was like normal, cluster lit up etc, but I didnt hear the fuel pump kick in. I tried to turn it over and nothing, no clicks, no turning over.... nothing. So once I pushed it to the closest area off of the road, got it jacked up, key on and jumped the starter with a screw driver and the car would turn over, try to run and die again.
So basically its not getting fuel and its not activating the starter. Could be ignition (key/clyinder) problem or an ignition relay that controls both? Or are they both activated when the key is on through the key lock cylinder?
Thanks for any info, this is a 95 Camaro 3.4L. If its a relay could you please tell me which one it would be and would most likely be in pass kick panel I believe.

Either the electrical ignition switch down lower on the column or a serious short. The switch isnt too expensive and is pretty much a standard gm switch, most rear wheel drive GMs back to the 80s and possibly the 70s should interchange, I know I barrowed one from an 83 chevy truck for mine once and everything was perfect. Only difference is if you have an automatic, it will have the little extra piece for the shifter interlock cable. Try that and see if you can get it to turn over at least and go from there...
(actually first remove the electrical switch from the column, plug it back in and use a small screwdriver on the peg hole in the switch to try to start the car. switch could be out of adjustment or have a bad spot, sometimes you can get it to engage that way since you can push it slightly past where the rod from the key switch pushes it.)
