Mine is throwing a code but the car runs great. I took it off and I really don't understand how people say they clean it. Do I have to somehow take the thing apart? or is it one of a different design that people are able to clean?

I really don't want to replace it unless it's absolutely necessary...Any other options or fixes?

 

I'm almost positive you can...if it is going though, you are just putting it off.

Kind of a tough bullet to bite since its pretty expensive, but it will eventually need to be replaced.

 

what code are you throwing and is your car stock?

you can clean it. the pintle (pluger) can be cleaned as well as the passage in the intake but I doubt thats going to do anything.

Depending on the code that it;s throwing will depend on what you should try to fix it.
