Cams??

I found two comp cams at 3800performance.com And in my summit magazine there is a edlebrock cam for a (buick 231 v6) . That the same engine as the 3800 right?? If you would check out the comp cams at 3800performance.com and tell me which one is the best and how much will it help.

Best for what?

What are your future plans for mods? What are your goals for the car?

There are dozens of cams out there to choose from, and you can get custom grinds too.

low end or top end?
I think most cams just put your max power at the higher end of the powerband.

Re: Cams??

The Edelbrock cam is for the older series of 3.8 engine. The Comp Cams are pretty good from what I have heard and I believe Crane or Crower might also make a cam. Also check www.zzperformance.com or www.intense-racing.com to see if either of them have anything.
