Built up 3.4L or 3.8L...

well i keep going back and forth on ideas to build up my car or get a newer TA/Z28. ive really wanted to do up a 6 cylinder and turbo/twin turbo it. right now i have a 3.4L w/ 115k on it. what would be the best thing to rebuild: my motor as it is, a lower mileage 3.4l... or a 3.8L? also in rebuilding it what would be the best performance ideas? once the turbo(s) are slapped on id like to get 400-500hp out of it. any input is appreciated

oh also... can the 3.8 bolt up to my current 5 speed? and would i be able to build up my tranny to hold that power, or would i need to get another one. i know its a big project, thats why i havent really done much until im sure of what i want to do. i got friends to help me so labor cost isnt a factor

Either build up your 3.4L or... swap to a v8, a 3.4L-3.8L swap isn't that great of an idea. Its similar amount of work and headaches, actually I think the 3.4L-lt1 swap is woudl be even easier.

ANd overall I reccomend a lt1 swap, will cost less and be more reliable in the long run.
