broke some new records

Broke some records tonight....

first had some misfires down the track, and SES light on half the runs... read about my EGr problem in gen tech and other v6 boards..

well first, I beat my personal record I have been trying to beat which is a sub 10 second 1.8th... i hit a 9.970, and a 9.971.

all so got a new 1/4 mile best of a 15.661@86.32, which is a new personal best, and Beats James Montigny former NRT car's time of a 15.677, which bumps me up to 2nd place for N/A 3.4Ls.

And anotehr record which is crazy is I hit a 15.611 twice! once at 86.28, and once at 86.32 mph, what are the odds of that.

here is the whole timeslip, I alos ran full wieght, jsut minus spare and jack, all suspension hooked up and operational, only thing differnect then daily driving was tire pressures.

R/t 0.819
60 ' 2.131
330 6.418
1/8 9.970
mph 70.55
1000 13.053
1/4 15.661
mph 86.32

I submitted my times to magnus, actually both my 15.661 timeslips are scanned. also 94Grayv6.

Yeah I was there and Eric's car runs pretty strong. Off the line I saw him take a 89 TTA, but he was toast by the 330' mark

The 1/8 mile is where he beats all us 3.4 guys. He seems to be really good at launching it. If he had any internal work done at all his car would probably run very low 15s.

yeah fix your exhsut leak first...

my egr being loose, I can feel a difference in performance, and thats similar to a leak.

slicks... not to sure about that I wouldn't get them because I thinkthey would slow me down... I think my 2.0-2.1 60's are fast enough to be running 15s.

depends what teh 4 mods are, if its a tornado air fiter and a high rise wing, not going to help you but if its gears, lighter driveshaft and such it will.

I ran 15.9 @ Ithink 88 with my stock 3.23s and open rear end.

Its the stock rear end...

the rear gears on a v6 have an open differnetial only the right rear tire spins under havy thorttle. With LSD(limited slip differential) both the right rear and left rear tires spin together, doubleing hte amount of tire putting hte power to the ground.

the pulleys... didn't help me much... I bought my used for $60 and got a new belt with them... I was more interested in the new belt since mine was old, and a new one costs lik $30 anyways. I don't even run the alternator pulley its given me so many problem on different alternators.

I don't know... some peopel on here now and I think if you go to ASp's site they will tell yeah.

as for 15.5s... I am not sure.... I am close to it, but then there are people with much more work that are not that close. Only way to find out is get to the track and run it.
