Brake stands

Ive never really tried one even though ive been asked to a million or so times. But what happens on a 99 3.8 without L.S.D? some people think it will just rev high and bog down I don't know like i said ive never tried.

P.S Pics would be great if possible

My 98 just bogged down, but I was just learning to do brake stances then. I think i was able to break the tire loose though but it wasn't going very fast. Apply the brake just barely enought o keep it still and give it gas, do it in a empty lot or something when first trying, defianetly not at a stop light with cars in front of you. If you can't do it, its probably just not enough power to brake it loose, without LSD you should still be able to get the one tire to spin.

I can smoke the tires on my 85 2.8 real good, this is how.
engine 4500rpm WOT, clutch petal fully released in 1st gear
2.8L 160ft.lb. @ 3500rpm
5-speed borg-wanerwith 4.03:1 first geat
