Black bracket

98 3.8 v6
I poured a few courts of oil in and the passenger side cylinder head cover is leaking oil over the manifold. why?
I have never completely removed the head cover only partially vbecause of a black bracket right behind the cover. I have no iead how to get that off because the last bolt it right under it. Its givign me hell... And i think the rubber gsket that goes inside the cylindr head gasket is not in correct place an dthats why its leaking... I never had that problem until i tried to take off the cylinder head cover.
After i Changed the head gasket because i wanted to know if both gaskets blew drier side was blown passenger side i have no idea..
What do yall think? I blew both Gaskets? because if i did ima have to tea down the engine agian to replace the other side.. I havent turned it on because i dont have The battery power i tried to jump start but battery was to weak or somthign and i dont have the amp jumper so i have no idea....
