Suprisingly that didn't sound to bad. I have to admit it was funny to see a video like that with the burning out with his v6.

we used a dynomax dual outlet camaro muffler (~$50) on my girl's 3.4, sounds great (first few days it was raspy, but it broke in) with the rectangular tips it really improved the sound (SS but half as loud), only problem is you can use Z28 tips because they are only 2.25 and the muffler's outlets are 2.5"

but it really does sound good, isnt terribly loud inside, sounds twice as good hearing it from another car driving beside her, a couple of SS and Z28 guys asked to race her thinking it was a Z28

i just got dual tips installed from midas a few years back, it's nice and quiet and isnt too raspy

then again, I have a 3.8, so I dont know if i am helping any

z28 takeoffs sound pretty good on the v6's aswell
