I got an LS1 from another '98, so the wiring harness that came with the LS1 would be compatible with my car.

I am converting the intake and the pcv to LS6 parts. The intake because of the added hp, and the pcv because of the oil sucking the early model LS1's were known for... I'm also replacing the oil pump with an LS6 unit because the early LS1 oil pumps are prone to fail.

There are a few people on www.firebirdv6.com that have done this swap. Magnus on a '97. Jarayax is in progress on his '98. There are a few others.

I wanna know how it turns out too. When I do my swap i might as well beef up the motor beforhand. The intake would definetely help.
