Unhappy axles

My friend was in a wreck last saturday, and one of her axles was bent pretty badly. She would like to know, how much it would cost to replace and fix.

Just the actual axle??? or the whole diff is bent??

Cause I would bet that if the axle is bent, so is the diff. itself, which probably means that a control arm or two back there is bent too.
