axle problems?

axle problems?

okay whenever i start to slow down, i hear like this clunking noise on my passengers side in the front. any idea on what it is? it like clicks and clunks to stop. any solutions or experience with this?

Yep I had that problem a couple weeks ago. I had new brake pads put on and the guy told me that sound was the exhaust pipes hitting the underbody of the car. I thought it was the brakes. He re-hung the pipes and I havent heard the sound since.

thanks for the help but i don't have dual exhaust yet. it comes from the front end. i'm thinkng maybe in the front end is loose but i have no idea what connects up there.

does anybody know what parts are in the front that could be making that noise? it only happens in the passenger side when i slow down. any help?

I would probibly have to blame it on a brake problem since you say it is coming from the front, My dads Astro clunks sometimes when slowing down but I think that is the LSD.
