I bought a 1994 camaro v6 automatic, its a project car i bought it cheap, the v6 and tranny will be coming out and swapped with a 6 speed z28 engine, now the question is:
Would it be alot of hassle to convert my camaro from automatic to manual?
can somebody supply me with some websites online i can look into for this kind of job?

It's been done thousands of times, probably in quite a few cases on this site. Do a site search, should help with the needed info. Good luck, you're gonna love the difference!

 

It Hasnt been done thousands of times, and I've never actually seen anyone do it. It would need an adapter plate as well as tons of other things. Just swap a t5 from a v6...way easier. I think it was proven once that the v6 would have a hard time even turning the 6th gear ratio.....

Sorry friend, I think I misread the question...at least one of us did. Didn't the OP say that he was swapping in a Z28 motor and transmission? If that is the case, then it'll be a lot easier.

 

Haha yes, I'm the jackass here.....I thought he wanted the 6 speed on the v6 (on the v6 forums plenty of people have talked about that) and I didn't catch the engine part.
