you're an unusual case though, most 3.8s are NOT going to be able to comfortably beat a SOHC 4.6 in stock form.
Or because hes a helluva driver on the strip and knows his car better than most drivers know their own. Including launch speeds, shift points, torque curve, etc. I dont think his car is unusual at all, hes a pretty respected driver at the strip from what I've heard. Btw MustangEater, I'm assuming you go out to SpeedWorld to run? Took me forever to find that place the first time I went out there. In the boonies off of 50.

Re: ARRGG Lost to A GT!!!!!

I'm not doubting he did it...he has been around long enough to have credibility...but you would not believe how many guys now think they can hit those times....these guys are at the track running high 15's scratching their heads...

Just like LS1's at the track...(not picking on LS1's, they scream, just from my experience) I have never met 1 LS1 guy that did not tell me their car really ran...the all run 12's because they do on the internet...I have even seen newbs at the track tell me what they were going to run(high 12's first pass) and these guy line up with their back tires...burn out at the line getting ready like it is the burnout box...only to run mid 14's because they have no ideal of what it takes.
