Ahhh!!!! Oil Leak!!!!

so i have a 95 3.4l that has about 120k on it. i tend to drive this hard, often cruising at 80 and sometimes pulling 90 for an extended period of time.

so on christmas night, i was heading home at about 3:30 a.m., and luckily there was no traffic. I was booking the entire 15 miles home, and when i stopped in front of my house, I noticed smoke coming out of the hood. My lights were still on, so I could see the smoke clearly.

I turned off the car, and the smoke wouldnt stop. I was pissed!

today, on my way to work, IT STARTED SMOKING AGAIN. Now that i had a good view of it, i learned that the smoke was coming a leak on the intake manifold, and it was leaking onto the exhaust.

what could it be? I hope its just a gasket, but has anyone ever had this problem?

thanks,
Danny Cam

are you sure it was coming from the intake manifold and not the valve cover?

if it a valve cover gastket just put new ones on and torqe em to spec, it could be a rear main seal. get an oil change and put in a bit of liquid stopleak for oil

my towncar was leaking bad, when i got it e tested the oil burning off the exhaust manifold filled the room with smoke
stop leak fixed it. its just sludge for your engine. if you dont like the idea of pouring sludge in, get a bottle of 10 min oil flush, pour that in and run the car for 10 mins while your waiting in line at the quick lube, then chainge oil and pour in bottle of stopleak
