i think they are slow. haha but it comes from the factory with more hp and tq then my old '84 z28 did. so i guess it will still be slow, but faster than what i got now.

im psyched about getting this car now. it looks badass with really dark tint and its perfect paint. i was only worried about the sound and not having the deep throaty v8 sound. then i saw the slp loudmouth for a v6. it sounds sweet. if i get that exhaust ill have everything i want. gas mileage, sound, looks. thanks guys.

I was going to say that too, but I didn't want to brag. But its pretty amazing, the first time I drove my SS with a friend I pushed the gas down about 3/4 to the floor and said were going 80mph to my friend and he looked over and said "$h!t, it doesn't feel like it".

a 3.8L v6 is a very respectalbe car, and im glad i have my v6, for cruising and driving, and if you're young... 300hp is alot to handle. but i have to agree that there is nothing like a 300hp v8. i was bitten by the bug and never went back. im on my third car and my second v8 car, both v8's with over 300hp. oh its fun.........very fun.

i too have driven a 2002 ws6 t 6 speed and it was the most fun ive ever had driving a car. but definately not the fastest, nothing beats a 1.6 or 1.7 60ft launch in a REAL fast car that is set up for drag. talk about ****ting a brick is when the front wheels go off the ground and you dont see the track anymore. theres nothing wrong with driving a v6, as long as you have something fast to drive on the weekends.

I agree. I have a 97 V6 Camaro Convertible and a 93 Z28 M6. My V6 is my daily driver and I love it to death. (I was sposed to sell it when I got my Z, but it's my baby and I can't part w/ it ^_^) Buuuuuuuut.....I do find that on the weekends when I got my Z out on the prowl, I forget I even own the 6er ^_^ I love em both.....I guess it takes owning both to really appreciate them. Hey primer84z, take the car man. You're going to love it to death!

I own an LS1, but i owned a 3.8 before, yes the 3.8 is respectable and certatainly a fast enough car to be fun to drive. I could be happy with a 3.8.
