I am trying to find out if a 95 3.4l auto tranny out of a firebird will work in my 96 3.8l camaro?

 

to the best of my recolection the 96 and later transmissions have a PWD style converter (pulse width monitor) 95s and down do not...it really only equates to another plug on 96 and later trannys but still wont work, i hear some people can "make them work" but im not sure whats involved in doing so, my recomedation is just so find a trans out of the same year f body to be headach free down the line imo
