Re: 94 V6 3.4l

if you want to "build up" your engine, you need to start from the bottom...end

a set of decently low compression forged pistons, maybe some nice chromoly rods with the proper bearings, head porting, bigger valves? get your intakes ported/matched

you may be able to utilize headers, but some fabricators prefer custom manifolds vs ypipes, but i think that is the least of your worries until you are ready to boost it

does any of this make sense?

(if not, do some more homework or stop dreaming)

if you just want a bit of a power increase, get an intake, headers and a dynomax muffler and have some more pep from your 87 octane

the turbo path...is a path that doesnt stop, its never easy and you always have to go faster...turning up the boost is so easy, so its easier to justify spending more money on parts that go hand in hand with more boost, including broken parts

Re: 94 V6 3.4l

Hey bro i have a guide for you. I myself have (trying to sell) a 94 3.4 M5. i tried exhaust parts, tuning chips, intakes, P&P everything... all in all i was never pleased with the power. i was always the one to say, ya i have a v6 BUT its one of the fastest.. i was lying to myself, telling myself i was happy.. i totaled up about $4000 in mods to my $5000 car. i looked at the end result: a car that costs me about $9000, alot of trouble, and something that still got whipped by v8's. its so not worth it. i broke down, i'm selling mine and i just bought a 99 Z28 M6. its worth it. i instantly have more HP than my 3.4 and i have potential to go through the roof in HP output! It took me 3 years to give up on my V6.. now i'm laughing and thinking "what was wrong with me?" Just go find a used Z28 somewhere close, pretend like ur gonna buy it, and test drive it.
