Question 94 camaro cuts off after a while

im about to buy a 94 camaro from a friend of mine. hes selling it to mee for a real good price but there is a problem with it. from what he told me its a broken oil gasket or oil pan....i cant remember forsure but i think its the oil gasket. the car starts up and runs but will cut off after a while

if it is the oil gasket will that cause the car to cut off after it runs for a while? if it isnt that what else could it be? how can i find out exactially whats wrong with the car?

also i noticed oil in the driveway and in the grass where the car was sitting

thanks

Re: 94 camaro cuts off after a while

yeah im hoping thats it. cause if it is then it should be a simple fix because he hasnt drove the car after the oil gasket got cracked. i know low oil pressure can cause engine problems and the car hasnt really been ran or started up since the problem occured

can anyone think of anything else
