93 3.4 Help

I am having some weird problems with the 93. I intermittantly get a hard start situation(crank crank crank crank and finally starts but ti sounds like it is starting the whole time) then it runs like crap, kill it restart and it runs fine. Other times push the clutch in and try to start and get a click. Release and push the clutch in again and it starts fine.(I am thinking maybe the clutch switch). Sometimes when driving I get a SES light, kill it restart no light. But the strangest problem I have is reading the codes. I jump the aldl, the fan comes on BUT I don't get a blinking SES light. doesn't even blink a code 12.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem when I owned a '94 3.4L Camaro, except I didn't have a M5 trans, so I didn't experience the tranny problem you did. I initially thought the starting problem was related to cold weather, since it mostly occurred during the fall/winter months. It wouldn't start the first few times, but eventually it would start, but sometimes it would run rough unless I shut it off & restarted it. I changed fuel filters, cleaned the TB, had a TPS sensor replaced, had the EGR checked out, etc. Eventually, I ran a can of Sea Foam through the car, and about a week later, the problem went away. Even in the cold winter it started just fine. I owned the car for about another year before I traded it, & it ran fine the entire time.
