lol the car did out down some nice numbers but put the same effort in one of those v8s you snicker at. then what kind of numbers would you put down. i hate when v6 owners make comments like that. it sounds like a honda owner when they finally find a honda making decent power. i just think your jelous you dont own a v8.
i comend anyone who can put down numbers like that in any car but dont dog on bigger cars once you get there. there is always someone bigger and better

 

i see what your saying but it gets old when poeple say "put that in v8" "what?" do you know how many time i have heard that? i could say to you "why didn't you buy a v-10V" if someone says that to you every time you would get kinda pissed wouldn't you? you you have to see where we are coming too every time we get anywere with our cars most guys that own a v8 just stomp it down....... i sure if you went to a viper site you would get the same thing only the GM cars have this bond of the same car different motor so our sites or one......

i could have swaped a V8 and had it in the 9's but every person in the world could to that, with one call to summit and jegs, and a few few other places on the net.....

People just need to step back and look at what the person has done

you one time i accualy had a SRT-4 say behind my back "why put all the money into a v6" could i not say the same to him? well i didn't say anything and the other week he ate his words

i just don't like it when people tell me "v8 will alway be faster" well umm no **** i was able to get this car this fast wouldn't you think i would know that?

i'm sure if you had a v8 viper you would be on the other side of things

all in all it don't mean **** how many air smasher you got, HP is hp and TQ it TQ, all other things "=" 456 RWHP V6 > 400 RWHP v8
457 RWHP V8 > 456 RWHP V6

for real i just put down 456 RWHP and the fist thing you can say is.... it would have been better if it was a V8??? come on man open you mind a bit

 

I'm a idiot because I like the car? What I was trying to say in my first post was weather it's a V6 or not those are good numbers. If a V8 made those numbers it would still be nice, if a V10 made those numbers it would still be nice. You spend way to much time defending V6's to the point you dont even know what a complaiment is. So I guess the point is watch who you call idiot.

i knew you guys would take that one line out of my message and turn it against me. did you not see were i said i comend anyone who can do that. my whole speal was not dirested towards you. it was to the guy who was telling you to start looking for v8's. well i hate it when people are one traked and want to fuel a fued between v6 and v8 when they should be going after 400hp vs 400hp. if you want to read my whole post and take one line out of it so be thats your decision. oh and i thought the 456 run was the run were everything on your engine blew off. wasnt your best run without your engine self distructing in the 440s i could be wrong but thats what i saw. and if im right i could put a 300 shot on my car and dyno 600hp before it blows but i dont

 

keep in mind my IAT blew out and the hole was in the intake, so 2 run i could not eve get over 8.5 psi, some how on the the other runs it spooled more....

i would really like 500 on pump gas.... basically using HP tuners and loging and turning up the boost and take out timeing and adding fuel (i have a AEM WB 02 i log in HPT)

that or stand alone ECU with 3 bar map but that cost $$$$$$$$$

 

that wasn't driec towards you..... i was jsut explaing our side of it

the TB pipe and IC pipe and IAT blew off/out becuase i shut it down and the BOV could not get the air out and it when POP! thats all no bid deal, rather that then KR.... we did not notice the IAT was out untill we was pulling the car off the dyno, wont hurt anything but numbers

the IAT thing was loose already any way

So it was getting un metered air? That shouldve thrown the tune off a little mabey making it lean correct?
