3.8 vs prelude
what are my chances against a 97+ prelude, I'm driving my all stock 95 3.8 A4 with 245/50/16 yokohamas street tires, I dont know what my piece of s**t neighbor has done to his, I'm pretty sure is all stock. I know we're around 200 HP, I know mine have (or used to) 220 lbs ot torque I dont have a clue on his. his around 2954 lbs and mine is 3300 lbs. so should I go for it?

You have more power, about 5 more horses and he has 156 ft lbs of torque or right around there to your 225. I've beaten a newer one, i believe a 99 when i was stock. Just don't try to race with a full tank of gas, and minimize any wieght you can. You should be alright. Good luck.

a 1995 camaro with a 3.8, thats rare, i thought they only had them in cali and thats it, i thought the 3.8's were more common on the 96's?
as for the race, if the prelude 97+ is manual and not stick, i am going to bet on him, cause i believe your even 3.8 maro' had only around 180hp, the 3.4 has 160 stock and i don't think the 3.8 would have another 40 on top of that. But those foreign engines are tuff, especially on hiways. good luck though.

Coarse w/ mods like mine,w/o a dyno "I dont want to say for sure" but its a little higher than that. Aproximation w/ Ram air, filter, straigh through exhaust, stage 2 pcm, cooler temps. 24hp more to 224hp,230torq. maybe 170+ to the ground,I dont want to exsagerate?(I have no idea how to spell) I'ts prob. a little higher, but w/o proof
95 3.8 did you take him? If you havnt done it yet"What are you waitin for,GO."
