I back home, I have found a 3.4 intake from TB to intake mainifold with fuel componets. No computer.
I wanted to know if the stock (50mm) 3.4 TB would bolt on a 2.8/3.1 type manifold?
Are there were any more parts of that 3.4 intake I could use on an engine powered by a 2.8 computer?

 

it will bolt up,but the pull is defernt,and the 2.8/3.1 tb is the same size as it (52mm)

 

personally the 3.4L upper intake is junk!


A few fiero guys have dynoed abotu 20 hp gain from this modified middl 2.8/3.1 intake pelnum.

 

it isnt just you , the 3.4L upper intake is junk... i have decided the engineers that made it were just trying to make it fit under the hood and dash.... it really is a peice of crap, look at it , the air enters and makes a turn right after the TB , then it makes another turn to enter th plenum area, then down into the runners... it is a poor design. i was thinking about trying to make it so it took 2 TB's one for each plenum, but i decided to go the easy route, im getting an LT1 TB and im gonna strap that biatch on her instead
