i'm going to get headers soon and want to know what headers are the best option for our 3.4's. i know there is pacesetter and rksport, but want to know what are the problems w/ either of them, if any. which one is the easiest to bolt on? Has anyone had problems w/ them not fitting, etc. basically any info on these two brands would be helpful. i can get the pacesetters and a y pipe (all new in box) for 217 buc, and the rksport ones w/ y pipe (brand new in box) for 200 bucs. thanx,

 

Get the Pace Setters. They're cheaper and just as effective as the RKSports.

 

im probably one of few people that have seen both sets of 3.4L headers... the RK sport ones are much higher quality... the flanges are thicker (however they have 2 flat flanges at the Y pipe ... however mind dont leak)

i have a set of RK sport headers and am happy... the pacesetter ones just dont look like they are made very well IMO

 

i've had both sets aswell, and from a performance pov the pacesetters are a better design, but one thing both sets suffer from is the y-pipe is too small where it merges together(2.25 outlet to mate to the stock exhaust)

aswell as letting me figure out how to put 1.6 roller rockers on the 3.4 for ~$24
