I never said it was 1:1 try reading. I said 1.1:1 which is in fact not correct.
I had bad information... this time

Don't test me, you'll lose
And that is the part where you begin to sound like an idiot. You could have just restated that the ratio was in fact 1.34:1.. at which point I would have looked it up again, came back here and said "Hey, you were right." But instead you had to go and try and talk crap.

I'm not here to play games with you, I'm too old for that. And you are free to call me whatever names you care to, I don't talk what I don't bring to the table.
I stated what was accurate, you challenged it, and I corrected your post. I didn't mean to make a big deal out of it. And I will concede that the statement I made to you was a harsh one. And for that You do have my apologies. Having said that, I don't take kindly to being challenged when I take the time to post accurate information for someone, only to have it reputed without any factual data. If you disagree, don't sit there and say I'm wrong, explain why you feel that way and submit legitimate evidence (another forums post is not sufficient) I have invested too much into this industry to be taken lightly, as if I don't know what I am talking about.
This is not to say you don't know what you are talking about, or that I am always right and you are always wrong. No, please don't misrepresent me.
For the last 5 years or so, I have been building cars. Complete cars. Not just engines or drivetrain packages. I don't know everything but I am familliar with nearly all aspects of automotive repair and diagnosis. And at that moment I am still trying to find the time to finish an ASE Master Mechanic certification.

Its not about scoring points in an internet forum, its about giving people the correct information. That's what I am interested in.

I hear 3.42 are the best gears for a 3.8 V6 A4
I also hear that 3.73s are too high for a 3.8 V6 A4 because you will be so high in the RPMs in 4th gear when you cross the 1/4 mark.
Whats the best gear for a 3.8 A4
Damn! You have a billet cigarette lighter?!!! I can't imagine the tremendous help that gives your car in the 1/4 mile. Try a neon license plate border, my car is scary fast with that damn thing. And don't even bother to ask about my under body neons. Insane..

1FastV6 will adhemently confirm the insane power of the "Racing Red" scoop insert!
by his own words, "I am breaking dyno's now!?!"

Thanks for meetin' up with us Nino, but you're right we need to do more than hangout. We need to either hit the track and turn some more slips, or hit the dyno and see what the lastest stuff has yielded me.
