who makes a short shifter for my 1995 camaro 3.4?????

Pro 5.0 and Hurst ripper, both excellent choices, I prefer the 5.0

The only 5.0 for 5-speed I found was for a third gen camaro, would it also fit on an LT1?

Dont see why not since they both use t-5's. My thirdgen shifter bolted right up to my brother in laws 95 3.4 t-5. So yes. They dont sell them only for thirdgens they sell them for t-5's and t-56's and guess what the 3.4 is mated to....:P. Im not sure about the 3.8's but pretty sure those are t-5's also. Lt1 uses the t-56, so yes they make the 5.0 for the t-56 lt1's.
