Question 3.4 PCM reprogramming option?

Guys,

I have done plenty searches and now I'm really confused.

First, a little background: I am working on a engine swap, not on a Camaro instead I have a 94 3400 V6 with a 5 speed tranny installed in a 1971 Triumph TR6. The reason I used the 3400 was the fact that it is narrow enough I did not need to cut any bodywork. I have a PCM and wiring harness for the engine out of the donor Camaro.

So far so good. My question is this: what are my options for 'upgrading' the PCM? From what I gather the PCM on the L32 is not like the one on the LT1, instead it has a 'chip', right?

Who does upgrades to these chips? What are my options?

Please, guys, I am very familiar with my LT1. I learned a TON here mainly by asking questions. Please, give me a hand on this?

Thanks,
joe

first off .. its not a 3400 if its from an F-body, its a 3.4L (or an L32 if you wish)

the computer for the 3.4L needs to be flashed like the LT1 PCM does,

is the motor stock? if so then you can get it programed by fastchips.com and tbryne (i think) (one of the sponsors of camarov6.com anyway) sells PCM's for the 3.4L that were tuned by westers programming,

ive only heard of one person that had fastchips tune their car, they were happy, however fastchips wont do a moddified motor. i dont know if westers will tune the motor if its been modified.

OK. 3.4L it is. Sorry.

About fastchips.com, that must be out of business or something. I tried that URL and no such place; nothing comes up.

Is there such thing as LT1 edit or something like that to reprogram the PCM?

Thanks again for any help...

nope no L32 edit.. although that would be cool as hell

there isnt enough of a market for hopped up V6 f-bodies to make software like that unforutanetly
