3.4 jet chip questions

i found a chip at a decent price...they have a stage 1 and stage 2, what would you recommend me getting, stage 1 for factory, stage 2 for modified..

What's the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 Power Tuning?
Stage 1 Tuning is designed for the stock engine with very little modification. It requires the use of 89 or higher octane fuel for best results. The Stage 1 tuning will work in conjunction with other modifications to increase performance (intake upgrades, exhaust upgrades, etc.)

Stage 2 Tuning is designed for the performance enthusiast. Premium fuel is required in order to extract the maximum benefit from the new tuning. Other modifications including, less restrictive exhaust, modified intake, and 180 degree thermostat are recommended prior to using the Stage 2.

Right now, stage one.

If you plan on more mods in the near future, go ahead and get stage two.

only thing i am planning is headers? what else should i have with the stage 2? ignition or something?

i had a stg 2 on my 3.8 .. ran good.

get stg2 !

lol, thats true. It's not like if I ever got pulled over they ask me to pop the hood. But how would I get some company to ship to California? And how about mechanics? They might rat me out to the chip police!!
