3.4 hard starting when cold (NEED HELP)

Ok so ive got a 95 3.4 that cranks over fine and has a relatively new fuel pump (less than 5,000 miles) and practically new plugs, but has trouble starting in the morning. it will start after about the third try but runs rough until it warms up. i put a timing light on each cylinder and and found out that a least 4 cylinders have a random misfire. could it be like a crank or cam sensor? any ideas or suggestions?

The running rough could also be the ECT on the water pump. No bad grounds there?

As far as the starting goes. Have you checked your fuel pressure? What's it sitting at and does it trail off after turning the key? (not turning it over)

I have similar problem with my 94 Camaro, 3.4L, 211,000 miles. It takes about 4 attempts before it starts up in the morning. After that it starts normally all day long. Fuel pressure while runninsg is 40 psig. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator even thoiugh the diaphragm is not damamged thinking that the fuel rail is draining down while sitting overningt but this didn't fix the problem. The fuel pump can be heard humming when key is turned on but there's no fuel pressure. I don' think it is the fuel piump relay because the pump hums. I replaced the fuel filter even though it wasn't clogged. Any ideas?
